George BOND, son of John BOND (1846-1929) and Mary Ann BANHAM (1847-1937), was born on 17th February 1885 in South Lopham, Norfolk and was baptised there on 12th April 1885. He was in the Coldstream Guards, fought in The Great War and died, killed in action, on 15th September 1916 in France. He is commemorated at the Guards’ Cemetery, Lesboeufs.
